About the Role
The post holder, in collaboration with the Team, will be responsible for the delivery of the highest professional standard of care, assessment, treatment and support of people within the Service.

Main duties of the job
As a Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will:
To manage a defined caseload, using evidence based/patient centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
The service is provided in a variety of community and inpatient settings, and you will be required to work across different specialist areas. Please note that at times, the service may be reduced to inpatient setting only.
To regularly supervise Occupational Therapy students on practice placement.
To provide leadership for junior staff, as delegated by supervisor.
Supervise Band 5 staff and Occupational therapy assistants where appropriate.
To contribute to the development of the Occupational Therapy Service.
To maintain HCPC registration and to continually seek to improve performance through reflection, supervision and learning.
