If so, this is an exciting time to be considering a career as a Community Public Health Staff Nurse 5-19 in Public Health Nursing 5-19 Service (formerly School Nursing) within Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Children and Families Team.The Service supports school aged children in Education and our Home Learners in across Hampshire, you will contribute to assessment, planning and delivery of commissioned Public Health Services, based at Southern House, Otterbourne, with a requirement to work out of its sister site at Beech Hurst, Andover.If you are a registered NMC Nurse and looking to join a thriving, innovative and developing service which puts children, young people, and their families at its core, then this is the job for you.This role requires highly motivated and compassionate Community Public Health Staff Nurses who can demonstrate excellent communication skills, work as part of a skill mix team to enable the excellent delivery of commissioned aspects of the Healthy Child Programme. Main duties of the job

The primary role of the Community Public Health Staff Nurse is to support in delivering the commissioned elements of the Healthy Child Programme (HCP) (DH 2009) as a member of the Public Health Nursing 5-19 (formerly School Nursing).They will provide responsive, holistic, quality, family centred public health outcomes in line with the 4-5-6 model of the Healthy Child Programme including the high impact areas.
