The is an exciting opportunity to join our Andover Mental Health Team who are looking to recruit a full time Team Administrator to join our friendly but fast paced multi disciplinary team.

The Team Administrator role can be very varied and you will need to be able to work on your own and as part of a team which will give you the opportunity to learn new skills and knowledge.

You will be supporting your admin colleagues as well as the wider Community Mental Health Team. We are a friendly team who are looking for someone that has the ability to prioritise their work load and adapt to any situation.

Main duties of the job

Manage and prioritise own workload, arrange appointments, take, transcribe and type letters, arrange follow up actions as instructed, maintaining Consultant diaries to ensure a smooth and effective service, arranging for clinic lists to be available to reception staff before clinic commences.

Receipt of new referrals ensuring they are triaged and carryout the required administration, arranging initial assessments, liaising with our Service\users to agree a suitable date/time for their assessment. Booking in the HCP diary and liaising with the assessor.

Ensure that patient medical record systems are available and monitor that they are correctly maintained. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring correct RiO demographics, validations systems, and spine synchronisation, up-loading and maintaining correct documentation.

Making arrangements with any outside support agencies such as Interpreters as required.

Take minutes and type clinic documents/letters to support Management and Clinical staff

To answer telephone enquiries on behalf of the Team/Clinical staff and respond accordingly.

To provide administration support to the Team and other identified senior clinical staff for meetings as requested.

To update and record information onto the Trust electronic systems and databases as required within the Trust key targets times

To perform any other ad hoc duties, as and when required, which are consistent with the nature of the post in consultation with the Administration Manager.
