Job summary
To assist the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team Manager and Clinical Leads in the development and maintenance of a quality administrative service
To recruit and provide direct supervision for administrators including 1:1s and appraisals.
To coordinate and support secretarial and administrative duties to clinicians and other non-medical staff. This would also include being the first point of contact for complex enquiries from patients, carers and other professionals and to liaise with GPs, other departments and external organisations.
To ensure shared learning and compliance with guidelines and policies. To review and implement procedures and ensure SOPs are followed throughout different teams and to provide support and cover to all teams.
Main duties of the job
Develop, operate and supervise the complete secretarial support and administrative service within the team ensuring there is full cover during periods of annual leave or sickness.
Management of the e-roster system for all Administrators within their team, ensuring full cover is achieved during annual leave/sickness.
Participate in the recruitment of administration staff across the Mid Hants area.
Ensure review, monitoring and reporting of Insights information is completed daily, helping to support clinical leads with performance suite for the team and feeing into relevant performance reports.
Ad-hoc duties which may be requested by the Service Manager.
Participate in and undertake nonclinical audits as required by Service Manager or Area B&A Manager.
Ensure all communications internal and external contribute to a positive image of Hampshire & Isle of Wight Healthcare and are of the highest possible standard. To establish and maintain effective internal and external communication channels.
To prepare Agendas and take minutes and contribute to service business meetings as agreed with the Line manager.
The post holder will be expected to work closely with other staff in secretarial and administrative support roles within the division, attending meetings where necessary and sharing information and best practice to ensure that the effective administrative support systems are in place across the service.
