Adult Secure Services - Carer Liaison
The closing date is 24 August 2025
Job summary
A Band 3 Carer Liaison post is available for 3 days a week. (Some flexibility on the days)
If you have an interest in working closely with carers (the family and friends of service users) and feel you could bring a listening ear and compassionate approach, please get in touch. We are looking for someone who is reliable, positive, motivated to develop the carer liaison service and most of all - a great communicator.
As part of the Carer Liaison team you will proactively contact carers to offer support and share information. You will help to smooth the transition between services so carers are supported, well informed (where there is consent to share) and feel included in service developments.
You will work with carers from Ravenswood, Southfield and Ashford. Some travel in the community will be required. (Work base to be negotiated)
Once in the role you will have support from Becky Harding (Adult SS Service User and Carer Engagement Lead) and Karrie Vallance (Senior Carer Liaison) with a full induction and opportunities to learn how to best support carers across the Adult Secure hospitals.
You will also be part of the Trust Carers team who embed the Triangle of Care and help to improve carer engagement.
