We are looking for a Programme Director for Divisional Improvement to join us.
You will provide leadership to drive the delivery of the Trust's clinical transformation and improvement priorities across Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a key role to lead the development and delivery Divisional improvement programmes, which are an essential part of the new organisation to drive the transformation of the Trusts Clinical Operating Model. The Divisional Improvement Programmes are designed to enable the Divisions to work in collaboration to deliver clinical transformation and improvement, and ensure high quality and consistent standards are maintained in clinical services through the use of effective clinical networks across the Trust.
The role will be pivotal in the delivery of 'Connected Leadership' and facilitate work across internal organisational boundaries, with people who use our services, their families and carers, and system partners, ensuring an organisational culture focussed on learning, continuous improvement, relational leadership skills and system working.
The role will provide strategic and operational leadership and facilitation for the Divisional Transformation programmes to support complex transformation and embed a strategic approach to improvement. You will ensure a rigorous approach to improvement and transformation is embedded, aligned to the NHS Impact approach, ensure coproduction and evidence-based improvement methodologies are applied.
Main duties of the job
Lead the development and delivery of a system wide Divisional Improvement Programme, directing the programme team and overseeing the planning and delivery of the creation of the new programme of transformation work required to drive out unwarranted variation across HIOWH.
Drive development of the delivery plan for Divisional Transformation Programme.
Drive implementation of the programmes and enable key decisions in relation to the delivery of the programme and its associated projects, in line with the agreed governance, risk and compliance framework.
Develop programme success criteria that align with organisations strategic priorities.
Accountable for ensuring the delivery structure is supported by clear governance, oversight, and assurance functions and monitor and update
these functions on a regular basis.
Manage the end-to-end delivery of the Community of Practice/ Divisional Improvement Programmes.
Lead the development of programme documents.
Work with relevant partners and senior leaders to engage senior stakeholders to understand needs, build consensus and ensure buy-in, and manage interdependencies to drive the change.
Ensure strategic and operational risks and issues are managed and reported effectively.
Actively encourage diversity within the programme.
Ensure a culture of effective and open programme/project management is deployed within the team.
