Job summary
NHS Talking Therapies Hampshire (NHSTTH) is looking to recruit a highly motivated, enthusiastic, passionate fixed-term Clinical Lead & Service Manager to cover maternity leave. The post holder will be responsible for leading, managing and implementing the specification for IAPT Services. This post will carry considerable responsibility in ensuring that national guidelines are adhered to, performance targets are achieved, and robust clinical governance arrangements are in place.
You will work in collaboration with Heads of Service, Clinical Leads (Step 2 and Step 3), Quality and Innovation Lead and Service Managers to ensure all clinical and operational aspects of the service, supporting NHSTTH's strategic development and expansion, and quality improvement.
The post holder will foster excellent working relationships with internal/external stakeholders. The ability to work collaboratively with key partner organisations, patients and their families, clinicians and other practitioners is key, with the objective of setting the highest possible standards and holistic care in accordance with the service philosophy.
The post holder will implement audit projects in the service, as appropriate, and recommend changes based upon them. They will place an emphasis on co-production and demonstrate an attitude which respects and values clients, their carers, and the core values of the trust: Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.

Main duties of the job
Ensure all assessment and treatment services for Step 2 and Step 3 are set up and operate in line with National Guidance.
Ensure protocols and care pathways are in place across Step 2 and Step 3 so that patients can access appropriate treatment at the appropriate "step" in line with the No Wrong Door approach.
Ensure that staff are appropriately skilled and trained to deliver the service and to provide supervision where necessary.
Ensure that data and clinical outcome measures are being applied consistently across the service and that these are regularly audited.
Ensure that all Trust policies and procedures are implemented effectively.
Promote and ensure effective communication and working relationships.
Work in collaboration with the Service Lead, Clinical Leads and Solent Mind.
Ensure the development and implementation of a comprehensive service induction programme.
Participate fully in the Trust's policy on appraisal of self and others, ensuring that a system of supervision and appraisal is fully implemented within the service area.
Identify training needs to develop and equip staff with the required skills in relation to core tasks and responsibilities.
Work in collaboration with the Service Lead, Clinical Lead and Service Managers, Clinical Managers and Corporate and Business partners/
Develop a culture within the service area which positively welcomes diversity and change.
Ensure all aspects of confidentiality relating to both the service and individuals are maintained.
