Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and skilled person to join our friendly and professionally established administration team within Adult Mental Health for the Community Mental Health Team based at Fareham Health Centre or Havant Health Centre
The post holder must have:
- Previous Team Secretarial experience.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and customer care skills
- Face to face and on the telephone communication skills with members of the public and various members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Good time management skills
- Have the ability to prioritise their work appropriately
- Have a flexible approach to their work and working environment.
The successful candidate must be:
- Positive
- Methodical and calm approach to all aspects of their work
- Able to multi-task
The role will be working alongside another team secretary and medical secretaries and together you will support with the general admin required by the team, including Mental Health Practitioners, Consultant Psychiatrists and Psychological Therapy staff.
Main duties of the job
To provide comprehensive Administration and Secretarial services to the Community Mental Health team.
The post holder will be responsible for the organisation of their own workload and delegated decisions/actions, as deemed appropriate by the Administration Manager/ Team Manager.
The needs of the service user will be the utmost priority. The principle of high-quality customer care is at the heart of this role.
They will need to ensure a friendly and professional ethos within the team/department for patients.
