We're looking for a Business Support Team Manager to lead our dedicated admin teams across the Mental Health sub-division in Portsmouth. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our children's mental health services by providing high quality and effective administrative support, working closely with clinical leadership teams and championing service excellence.
The successful candidate must be experienced in team management, preferably in a health or social care setting, confident working across multiple sites with excellent communication skills and passionate about supporting services that change children's lives for the better.
The role is for a period of 12 months and is only open to redeployees.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide support to the Operational Support Manager and provide professional leadership to the administrative workforce to ensure efficient and effective administrative support is available to the Mental Health sub-division of the Children & Families Division.
Line management responsibility for the performance of individuals within the administrative workforce, ensuring they are supported to develop highly effective and efficient working practices. This will include direct line management of the Business Support Team Leaders.
The post holder will support the Operational Support Manager and Business Operations Manager on work with the Associate Directors, Finance Business Partner and H R Business Partner to support service developments and achievement of national and local standards.
To build a combination of knowledge and expertise in engagement and behaviours and technical skills in admin business development to achieve strong service engagement, relationships, and effective practice.
To support the Operational Support Manager and Locality Managers in the administrative requirements, development, and successful day to day operation of the Mental Health Sub-Division, of the Children and Families Division.
