Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a 3-month acting up position as an Admin Team Lead to Older Persons Mental Health (OPMH) Team in Havant and Waterlooville based at Havant Health Centre.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual who can demonstrate a 'can do' attitude, with a passion to be working within the Older People Team and who can provide a second to none service across the team.
The successful candidate should be proactive, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to ensure the smooth delivery of our service. This is a very busy team and is ideally suited to a responsive and resilient team player who seek continuous improvement in the service.
You will have proven experience working as an administrator in an NHS setting or equivalent, excellent communication skills, excellent time management, strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Main duties of the job
- To ensure the provision of a fully comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the Havant and Waterlooville OPMH Team and support other teams where needed/suitable.
- To support the Team Manager in the operational management of the service with the needs of the service user being the main priority. The principle of high quality customer care is at the heart of this role.
- To be direct line manager for a defined group of administrative staff. To provide leadership to the admin team and ensure KPI's, deadline and workloads for the admin team are met within a timely manner.
