Job summary
The New Forest East Community Mental Health Treatment Team provides high quality healthcare to adults suffering with mental health issues. The busy multi-disciplinary clinical team is based in Totton and is supported by a team of administrators. The post-holder will join this busy team to support the administration of the service by providing a receptionist service and general administrative duties.
We are looking to recruit an individual to work part-time on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The successful applicant will be able to function in a service area that requires flexibility, adaptability and commitment. The successful applicant will be expected to have a positive approach to customer care, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work in a very demanding and busy environment. The successful applicant will also have excellent IT skills.
Open only to applicants from Hampshire & Isle of Wight NHS system, which is limited to: Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Healthcare FT, Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, University Hospital Southampton FT, South Central Ambulance Service or Hampshire Hospitals FT.

Main duties of the job
To receive incoming telephone calls, and recorded messages to the service and to take messages, acting where appropriate and within level of responsibility, including making calls to outside agencies.
To receive all incoming mail and distribute to the relevant recipient. To sort outgoing mail for the Royal Mail and internal services.
To organise room bookings and pre-book rooms for regular meetings.
To input data on to the relevant systems.
To carry out photocopying and filing as required.
To undertake any additional projects for the Administration Manager or Team Manager/Leader as required and that are appropriate to their role.
