We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Team Administrator for our Bladder & Bowel Team, based at Bitterne Health Centre in Southampton.

We are looking for a well organised and enthusiastic individual with experience of providing first class administrative support and customer service.

We are looking for a highly motivated team player. You will need to able to prioritise a busy workload while maintaining great communication with a wide variety of professionals.

This post is 26 hrs per week, pattern of work to be negotiated. The teams core hours are 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the job

This key role is the main contact for patients, carers and health care professionals ensuring co-ordination of the patient care pathway.

To provide comprehensive administration support to the Bladder & Bowel Service.

To work as part of a skill mix team to provide a comprehensive support service.

To effectively prioritise and manage own workload and oversee workload of team as necessary, whilst always maintaining confidentiality and diplomacy, both independently, and as part of a team.

To work without direct supervision and show extensive use of initiative in prioritising and making decisions in relation to effectively supporting the smooth operation of the service.

To carry out other duties as necessary to meet the changing needs of the Trust, in accordance with management requirements and appropriate to banding.

All duties will be carried out within the Trust's Information Governance, recording, and data sharing procedures and guidance.

To ensure the accurate inputting of data for the Rest Homes and Nursing Homes dealing with any queries with the support of the Clinical Lead when required.

Organise the annual calibration of the medical equipment held by the team.

The Bladder and Bowel Service is based at Bitterne Health Centre (BHC) and holds community clinics at BHC, Adelaide Health Centre, Hythe Hospital and Lymington New Forest Hospital. The team consists of Clinical Nurse Specialists, a Women's Health Physiotherapist, Clinical Support Facilitators and a Health Care Support Worker.
