Job summary
Are you a senior leader with the drive and expertise to lead complex, high-impact transformation? We are seeking a visionary Programme Director to lead our Integration and Harmonisation Programme across Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a pivotal role, responsible for managing the programme on a day-to-day basis, driving internal workstreams, and coordinating with key internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory bodies. The Programme Director will ensure the delivery of programme objectives aligned with rigorous time, cost, and quality standards.
You will bring a track record of strategic leadership, programme delivery, and stakeholder engagement. Your leadership will help shape a more integrated, efficient, and sustainable health system for our region.
Main duties of the job
Lead the day-to-day delivery of the HIOWH Integration and Harmonisation programme, directing the programme team and overseeing the planning and delivery of the creation of the new organisation.
Making key decisions in relation to the delivery of the programme and its projects.
Ensure the Programme is delivered in line with statutory duties to financial management, procurement, and public consultation.
Driving the overall strategy and direction for the programme.
Further define and develop the overall Programme Plan, delivery structure responsible for day-today working across the programme.
Identify skill requirements at all stages of the programme and build and develop a strong delivery focused programme within budget constraints.
Ensure an effective and appropriate benefits realisation strategy is in place.
Ensure strategic and operational risks and issues are managed and reported effectively.
Where required provide line management to core team members, acting as leader, mentor and facilitator to ensure the continued professional development of colleagues both within the programme and in the wider organisation.
Responsible for all aspects of programme improvement including audit, research and the use of evidence-based improvement methodologies.
