Job summary
We are seeking a Matron to lead on the high delivery of safe and effective patient care across 3 wards at Melbury Lodge.
You will need to demonstrate thorough knowledge of acute mental health inpatient care and bring managerial and leadership skills as well as enthusiasm for quality improvement and service development.
You will be working with an established leadership team within the Acute Care Pathway.

Main duties of the job
Melbury Lodge has 4 inpatient wards - Rosemary and Sherwood for adults, Snowdrop for OMPH and Clover Ward for Mother and Babies.
The post holder would be responsible for Rosemary, Sherwood and Clover and would work closely with the Matron for OPMH. The primary role of the Modern Matron is to lead the operational and clinical delivery of the inpatient services. The Matron works collaboratively with the leadership team, ward managers and external stakeholders to further enhance the service and care provided.
