Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, and self-motivated person to join our friendly Business Support Team based at the Horizon Building as a CAMHS Receptionist.

The successful candidate will have a caring and courteous manner and enjoy working with, and meeting people. You will be working within the Business Support Team and working in liaison with clinicians and families. You will need to be resourceful, organised and capable of delivering high quality support to a busy service during challenging times.

Main duties of the job

*To provide a welcoming, friendly, approachable, comprehensive and efficient front of house reception for visitors and staff at the Horizon Building.

*To keep the reception areas safe, clean and tidy at all times.

*To be responsible for the smooth running of the conference and consultation rooms.

*To work as part of a skill mix team to provide a comprehensive reception and administrative support to the Child and Family Service.

*To effectively prioritise own workload whilst maintaining confidentiality and diplomacy at all times both independently or as part of a team.

*To carry out other duties as necessary to meet the changing needs of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, in accordance with management requirements and appropriate to banding

  • GCSE English and Maths Level 4/C or above, or a good standard of general education.
  • NVQ2 or equivalent experience

Desirable

  • I.T skills and Knowledge
  • ECDL or equivalent

  • Knowledge of maintaining filing systems and collating information
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to input accurately to electronic information systems.
  • Good time management skills.
