Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Band 3 Support Time Recovery Worker to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity if you are thinking of joining a community team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring & motivated professional with excellent clinical & communication skills, who can work autonomously and support the team lead to manage the case load. We are looking for an individual either from a background in Mental health who is committed to the principles of recovery.

We are a small, friendly team who believe in working together and supporting each other.

We would be interested in supporting anyone looking to make the first step into the community setting and would offer support and the relevant training to help develop your skills and knowledge. The role of the support time recovery worker would be to work alongside qualified practitioners in monitoring psychical health, 1:1 person centred interventions, developing crisis and contingency plans and engaging service users in graded exposure work to support integrating them back into the community. Although not essential anyone who is phlebotomy trained would be able to support in managing those on Clozapine medication through regular blood tests.

Main duties of the job

You will work closely with the care coordinators and wider MDT to deliver a range of different interventions to service users suffering with serious mental illness.

The role is varied and exciting working with different people with different needs. We aim to develop person centred care plans for people suffering with conditions such as Bi Polar mood disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety and emotional coping difficulties. We work closely with partner agencies including local drug and alcohol services and the primary care networks.

You will be given regular supervision to manage your caseload, but we also require people to work independently. There is an escalation process for any safeguarding concerns, and you will be supported to manage these by the team.
