Main duties of the job

The Mid and North division are looking to recruit an Administration Manager to join the team. The post will be based at Parklands House in Basingstoke, and the successful candidate will be required to work across various sites as required.

The successful post holder will provide Personal Assistant support to the Clinical Director alongside managing and supervising a team of administrative staff. They will be responsible for the management of an efficient, effective and comprehensive administration team across the Mid and North division.

The postholder will be directly responsible for ensuring all teams have the adequate skills and knowledge to provide a customer focused service. To ensure all administrative functions work correctly and efficiently. Management of all administration functions within the directorate, including problem-solving, supporting and resourcing. To ensure any new processes or systems put in place to improve service user experience.

Candidates will need to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and have a background in supporting senior management. They will need to be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, be organised and possess strong IT skills. Be experienced and proficient in the use of Microsoft packages, in particular Excel and Powerpoint.

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Business/Administration Management.
  • To be educated to a minimum of GCSE in English and Maths
  • To be competent in the use of Microsoft Office and email.

  • 5 -- 8 years = Significant Experience
  • The ability to interrogate, analyse and validate a variety of computer based record systems in order to ensure accurate and timely recording.
  • Staff supervision and management of staff team and dynamics.
  • Organisational ability to create and use staff rotas in order to ensure adequate support to the teams.

Desirable

  • Relevant work experience in a PA/secretarial role to a senior manager
