An exciting opportunity has arisen within Southern Health Foundation Trust to appoint an enthusiastic Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) to work within the multi-disciplinary Community CAMHS team in Eastleigh.

The role of a HCSW is varied, exciting and ensures you are completing a variety of tasks to support young people and their families.

The posts would suit someone interested in integrated working and wanting to achieve the best for their patients. They will work within a multi -professional team to provide individualised patient care.

We are looking for a motivated individuals, who are dynamic and keen to work as part of a team. The successful candidates will need to have some relevant experience, good communication skills and the ability to work well as a team member.

Applicants must have access to a vehicle for work and possession of a full UK driving license is essential.

Main duties of the job

To undertake physical observations in clinics if required by medical staff/NMP e.g. weigh and measure patients, take undertake blood pressures.

To support qualified clinicians with urgent initial assessments (writing up reports, making follow up telephone calls etc)

To support clinicians with the administrative tasks, delivery, and facilitation of group work including room set up, handouts, presentations etc

To support clinicians with case closure and transfer to adult CMHT / adult ADHD Teams.

To support the leadership team / clinical leads with service evaluations and clinical audits, collecting relevant information and presenting findings to the service lead.

To support the service by being the link staff member for areas such as Required Outcome Measures (ROMS) or Patient Participation.

To assist qualified staff when they are undertaking assessments by using diagnostic screening tools with patients such as Qb.
