Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workflow Administrator to join the Solent GP Surgery Workflow Team based within the Royal South Hants Hospital in Nicholstown Surgery.
The Workflow Team supports GP practices by optimising the workflow of patient documents in a central location. You will work as part of a lively, energetic team to ensure incoming documentation is accurately uploaded, processed and escalated to the appropriate clinician.

Main duties of the job
Identify complex or higher risk information / requests that require input or knowledge from the clinical team. This includes safeguarding issues. Ensure that these documents are forwarded to the appropriate clinician within agreed timeframe.
Check your own work, investigate any issues, and identify any new concerns or areas not covered by current protocol. Make suggestions to the Business Development and Operational Manager.
Locate documents as needed by the clinical and non-clinical staff (this will include historic documents within the electronic record).
