Job summary
Are you an experienced administrator with an interest in working for a community child and adolescent mental health service? We would love to hear from you! To be successful in the role you will have good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work on your own and within a team, and will lead by example and maintain a calm approach when under pressure.
Team Administrators provide a full administrative service to the clinical teams in supporting service delivery; having daily liaison with a wide range of staff at all levels and regular contact with children/young people and their parents/carers who use our services, who may at times be distressed, upset, or extremely frustrated. The Team Administrator will be responsible for ensuring that tasks are completed effectively and to a quality standard within the office environment for the team.
Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive range of secretarial and administrative services to the clinical team.
To liaise with other departments and services and to respond effectively to enquiries from the general public, service users, referrers and other agencies.
To greet families warmly and helpfully when managing the reception area
To consistently deliver a client focussed service, which promotes good customer service and effective working relationships.
To maintain high standards of information governance and confidentiality
