Job summary
Open only to applicants from Hampshire & Isle of Wight NHS system, which is limited to; Hampshire IOW Healthcare NHS Trust, Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB, Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, Isle of Wight NHS Trust, University Hospital Southampton Foundation Trust, South Central Ambulance Service or Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust.
The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the community sexual health promotion and outreach nurse services as part of the wider running of the Sexual Health and HIV Service (SHHS) across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight (HIOW) to ensure the delivery of high-quality interventions against an agreed service specification.
The post holder will be responsible for overseeing and contributing to the delivery of the community service action plan; comprising of the service wide Sexual Health Promotion and Outreach Nurse provisions. Focusing on prevention, early intervention and optimal community clinical provision, the post holder will promote awareness of the Integrated Sexual Health and HIV Service in order to contribute towards reducing health inequalities amongst targeted and vulnerable communities, improving sexual health outcomes as outlined by Public Health.
The base of work for this role is negotiable as we operate across the Trust.

The post holder will be expected:
To lead, monitor and report on the community delivery programme, working to a service specification and continuously seeking opportunities to reduce health inequalities where there may be gaps in delivery.
To support the collaborative working within the integrated sexual health and HIV service, working towards our purpose to 'help individuals to have healthy, safe worry-free sex'
