Job summary
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust MSK team is looking to recruit a part-time (22.5 Hours per week) MSK clinician into our Oak Park (Havant) locality. This is an excellent opportunity to integrate into the MSK service as the team forms part of a larger MSK service which takes pride in delivering high quality care & rehabilitation. We encourage conversations around flexible working options.
Working closely with primary & secondary care colleagues, the MSK teams serve the local community in outpatient settings across Hampshire. Caseloads are varied & referrals are received directly from GPs & Orthopaedic Consultants as well as self referrals.
The MSK team are committed to continued professional development & promote evidence based practise to ensure a high standard of care throughout the service. Main duties of the job
Undertakes a musculoskeletal assessment of patients including those with highly complex presentations and from this formulates a diagnosis and treatment plan which is carried out as an autonomous practitioner.
Takes a role in the supervision, teaching and appraisal of rehabilitation assistants, students and other members of the multi disciplinary team.
Participates in evidence based projects, assists in implementing changes within designated team/area and setting and monitoring standards of practice.
There may be a requirement to work in other areas of the trust if the service requires it.
