Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated pharmacist with a passion for education and training to join our friendly Pharmacy Team at HIOWH. The post holder will be expected to travel across sites and provide clinical pharmacy input to inpatient physical & mental health services. The post holders base location will depend on the candidate's home location, with travel expenses being covered.
As part of the pharmacy team, you will be provided with the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of training to internal team members and those who work in the wider trust. The delivery of clinical support will be across a variety of physical and mental health specialties, including; Adult, CAMHS, Forensics and OPMH.
Main duties of the job
As part of our established Pharmacy Education and Training Team, you will:
*Support the Principal Pharmacist for Education and Training in pharmacy workforce training and development.
*Support the co-ordination, implementation, development, and delivery of training programmes for all pharmacy trainees, primarily Trainee Pharmacists (TPs) and Foundation Pharmacists (FPs).
*Support on all medicine's optimisation training provided across the Trust for medical, nursing and other healthcare staff and carers, working closely with medical and nursing leads.
To work closely with senior members of the Pharmacy E&T Team and the wider pharmacy team both within and outside Hampshire and IOW Healthcare to develop and support learners and supervisors, and to ensure an effective, inclusive, and innovative learning environment and culture.
The post holder will act as an Educational Supervisor, Practice Supervisor and/or Expert Witness as required.
The post holder will provide clinical ward pharmacy services under the direction of a designated Principal Pharmacist. He/she will work closely with senior colleagues and clinical technicians to ensure the provision of an integrated and efficient service.

- General Pharmaceutical Council registered pharmacist.
Desirable
