Job summary
This post is open to current employees of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust only.
The post holder is responsible for ensuring all paperwork and information is produced and maintained to ensure the delivery of a catering service to clients at various sites around the Trust.
The nature of this post means the post holder will be expected to work in one or more units within the Trust.
Ensure the services are run smoothly in accordance with Trust guidelines and policies to help maintain a catering service to clients and staff, working 37.5 hrs per week Monday to Friday.
Main duties of the job
Ensure all paperwork received from units and in whatever format is compiled on the relevant production history sheet, labels printed off ready for chefs to prepare that day's production of food for the cook freeze operation to other sites.
Ensure all enquiries for hospitality is processed to receive menus and order forms, bookings recorded in function diary and line managers made aware via Outlook diary entry.
Update prices as needed on display posters, tariffs and menus in the dining room ensuring they are laminated or in a clear pocket where needed and displayed in time for service.
Prepare relevant delivery notes required by the driver/store person to deliver cook freeze food to units on the required delivery days.
Prepare all paperwork required for the department to meet all guidelines within the Simply Safe Toolkit on a weekly and monthly basis and as needed. Ensure records are kept for 3 months in line with the toolkit guidelines.
Update the allergen register as needed to ensure legal compliance, send out updated menu recipes to site managers to insert into allergen folder so as to ensure all allergens are declared and information is available at all sites we deliver our food to.
