Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust are looking for a Junior Telecoms Engineer to help provide hands on support on-site, and remotely, for users located throughout the Trust.
The successful candidate will play a key part in helping to support the above as well as in the deployment of the new Cisco telephony platform.
You will enjoy a varied range of work including installation and commissioning of new telephony hardware and software, fault finding legacy and Unified Communications systems, auditing and reporting, and working through the Trust's management portal closing new service requests and incidents.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and hard-working individual with technical experience in telephony being an advantage, although in house training will be provided.
You must have a high-level knowledge of Microsoft office and other relevant systems.
The role will start as a band 5 position with a review moving to band 6 after 12 months, based upon milestones and job progressions being met.
Main duties of the job

Supporting the Telecoms Manager and deputising as required.
Completing in-house training for career progression.
Support other departmental requests that align with telephony.
