Early Help Team Manager
This job is now closed
Job summary
The position is a full time role that will be managing the Early Help provision across the Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) in the area as well as the Primary Mental Health Workforce (PMHW) who deliver group based interventions that form the first steps of care within our clinical pathway model.
The team manager will need to be a transformational leader with the ability to support staff to make decisions, analyse data, and oversee the performance of the team. There will be a strong focus within the role to build relationships with partner agencies and work collaboratively across community agencies to deliver an effective and efficient provision. An understanding of health, education and social care settings would therefore be advantageous.
We focus on supporting staff through supervision and training opportunities and have a track record for creating strong cohesive teams where we balance the seriousness of our role with good humour and connection. The Hampshire CAMHS service, like many NHS services nationally is busy and faces challenges, with high demands on our teams. As a Trust we recognize the impact of the nature of our work and prioritise staff wellbeing, providing activities that promote the positive health and wellbeing of our staff such as arts projects and staff development. There are a number of forums each month for team managers to both meet together and with the wider leadership team from across the county.
Main duties of the job
Hampshire CAMHS have a long established history of innovative and participatory practice that fully includes those accessing our services to shape and improve it. We are looking for a leader that shares our enthusiasm, passion and commitment to work alongside colleagues to deliver a good quality timely service to young people and families in Hampshire, in collaboration with a strong supportive leadership team. This leader will need to bring together in collaboration and partnership the teams that they oversee so they are aligned in their delivery and ethos and work with a wide range of partners both internally and externally to ensure that CAMHS Early Help operates effectively as part of the wider system.
