Job summary
Working as a Peer Trainer for the Recovery College is a rewarding opportunity to use your lived experience to support students with their recovery journey. You will join a passionate team and work in partnership with other trainers to develop and deliver high quality training. The role enables you to harness your personal experiences and expertise to inspire individuals in their recovery.You will be a positive role model for lived experience and its role in high-quality training. The role requires you to be able to deliver training at sites across Hampshire and comfortable supporting with student enrolment and support plans. Main duties of the job
Work with trainers to co-develop and deliver recovery & self-management related training.Use lived experience constructively in the design and delivery training.Be a role model in promoting lived experience within a recovery.Take an active role in the engagement and promotion of the college.Support students with enrolment, learning and support plans as required.Take a supportive and collaborative role within the college team, contributing to the achievement of team objectives.
