Team Administrator / Receptionist

Job summary

We are looking for someone to work in a busy, customer/administration service-based role with the New Forest Community Treatment team based in New Milton.

As the team administrator / receptionist, you will work alongside colleagues within the administration team. As an enthusiastic team player with a can-do attitude, you will also be expected to work as part of a wider administration service supporting front line staff, service users and carers. You will be expected to have excellent telephone and communication skills.

This will suit you if you are dynamic, pro-active and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and while we would value previous experience of working within a mental health setting, or the wider NHS, this is not essential as full training and support will be provided.

Main duties of the job

To input clinical data onto the electronic patient record

To receive incoming telephone calls and recorded messages to the Service and take messages, taking action where appropriate and within level of responsibility, including making calls to outside agencies

To receive all incoming mail and distribute to the relevant recipient. To sort outgoing mail for the Royal Mail and internal services

To organise room bookings and pre-book rooms for regular meetings

To carry out photocopying, scanning and filing as required

To order stationery and medical supplies as required
