Job summary

We are looking for a confident system administrator to join a small busy team. Our team plays a major role in supporting the Trust with its eRostering systems to produce accurate, effective and efficient rosters which lead to accurate pay and reward. The primary function of the role will be to assist eRoster and eExpenses users with system queries and functionality. Other duties will include ensuring the system is up to date with staff changes and troubleshooting complex problems.

The successful candidate should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and an understanding of database functionality. They should be able to work on their own initiative and have a friendly, approachable manner with excellent customer service skills and an aptitude for learning new software and processes.

This is a non patient facing role and is office based. Our users are Trust employees.

Full training on the eRoster and related systems will be provided, although existing experience would be advantageous.

Main duties of the job

Act as the first point of contact for queries and issues from Healthroster and expense users.

Provide system support on all the Healthroster systems, sharing knowledge to users and improving their skills.

Maintain the generic email and expense inbox, answering/supporting users on a daily basis by phone and Teams also. As a very busy service, the requests for assistance are numerous and constant.

The postholder needs to be able to maintain a professional manner and understand HR policy and process.

To be able to share best practice clearly and where knowledge lacks, escalate appropriately.

Assist with communication to users regarding approval and finalisation deadlines.

Adhere to monthly payroll deadlines and acting on queries from payroll.
