Job summary

We are looking for a Medical Workforce Officer (Temporary Staffing) to join us at an exciting time of change. We are working to improve the services that we provide to our Medical staff in, particular how we support them in securing and deploying the temporary workforce in our newly created Medical Workforce Capacity Team.

Working closely with the Medical Workforce Capacity Lead you will key in supporting us in working with our new Managed Service and Direct Engagement provider, developing, documenting and delivering better access to more cost effective locum provision. You'll be pivotal in supporting the business transition to the new ways of working; driving down costs as well as supporting the potential development and running of an internal bank.

Main duties of the job

With the Locum Booking Co-ordinator and Medical Workforce Administrator (Rostering) you will help ensure locums are booked in the most efficient and cost effective way and they receive payment on time.

You'll also be supporting on the provision of key workforce information, support effective planning and deployment of our medical workforce and providing general administrative support as required.

To be effective in this role you will be a critical, logical thinker who can work through problems and map processes. You'll be able to constructively challenge and negotiate where necessary and be comfortable with creating, analysing and presenting data. You will also be an effective administrator with first class customer care skills.
