Deputy Director of Nursing (Mental Health Acute and Crisis Pathway Team)

We are seeking, following the conclusion of our restructuring process, to recruit to the final key leadership post in our new Mental Health Acute and Crisis Pathway Team.
You'll be accountable for providing visible leadership to the Trusts Nursing, AHP and unregistered clinical workforce, across the Mental Health Acute and Crisis pathway, including, inpatient and community crisis.
Main duties of the job
You'll develop a positive culture to achieve excellence in the delivery of care and lead on the agendas below
Patient, Carer and partnership involvement and engagement: Fostering strategic relationships between key partners, including general practice, patients & carers, Integrated Care Colleagues, Social Care and local voluntary organisations.
Clinical standards, quality, oversight and CQC: Leading on Trust wide quality initiatives and the ABC clinical commitment for Nursing and AHP, driving engagement with divisional leadership and ensuring robust plans are in place to meet all standards of CQC.
Clinical expertise: You'll have strong mental health experience in acute and crisis. settings with extensive experience in positive risk management, restrictive practice and therapeutic engagement and bring this expertise to change and modernise practice.
Safeguarding: You'll ensure the Division meets its responsibilities in safeguarding children, vulnerable adults and the wider workforce in line with National Policy requirements and quality governance.
