Job summary

At GWMH we have recently undergone an extensive development of our OPMH Inpatient Service. Both our wards have been newly refurbished to provide 14 ensuite bedrooms on each ward.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic motivated Health Care Support Workers to join our multi disciplinary team and support the qualified Nurses in providing person centered care in a caring, compassionate, and positive community.

If you have good communication skills and you have a passion for supporting older people, who are experiencing a crisis in their mental health, then we would like to hear from you.

You will receive regular Supervision and Annual Appraisal and will be offered training opportunities to meet you Personal Development Plan. You will work within a compassionate team, led by a supportive Management Team.

Previous experience of working within a care environment or the NHS is desirable but not essential as you will be supported in learning in the role.
