Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator to join the Learning Education and Development team (LEAD). We are looking for a committed individual to cover a diverse range of administrative processes with the aptitude to cope in a fast-paced environment providing an essential support service to the wider team and trust staff alike.

The role offered is varied and interesting providing administration support to the Business Support Administration Lead in the provision of a wide range of training programmes for Southern Health staff. To further develop personal knowledge and skills individuals will work within the wider LEAD team assisting where required.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated and be able to demonstrate a pleasant and professional telephone manner and be competent in listening and recording accurate and complex information. The post holder will be capable of prioritising their workstreams in order to meet deadlines, have excellent communication skills and have a customer focussed approach. The successful applicant will also be capable of working digitally and competent in the use of Office 365 and MS Teams.

This role is offered as a fixed term contract ending 31st March 2024.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be part of the Learning Education & Development (LEAD) team which is responsible for the education, development and training of all staff across the Trust.

This role will assist the Business Support team in providing a comprehensive, timely and accurate administration support service for a variety of learning and educational workstreams, monitoring and maintaining information, coordinating and liaising with staff as appropriate.

The post holder will be expected to learn the skills required to work effectively within the team and attend work-based training sessions as appropriate.
