Job summary
We are very happy to be recruiting for an 8b Psychologist post to lead our new At Risk Mental State (ARMS) Service which will be closely aligned to a high functioning Early Intervention in Psychosis Service rated Level 3/4 on the most recent NCAP audit.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has excellent leadership skills to work with patients, carers, and other stakeholders to co design and produce a service that will deliver assessment and interventions to 14-35 year olds who may be experiencing early signs of developing a psychotic disorder.
You will be a valued part of our Senior Psychologists group within our large and expanding psychology workforce in the wider Trust. We aim to ensure working with us is a positive experience. Supervision and training are essential and highly valued.
The post holder will have experience of working with patients to assess and manage early signs of psychosis. The successful candidate will ideally have completed HEE approved training in CBT for psychosis and Family Intervention for psychosis.

Main duties of the job
To provide a clinical leadership role in the At Risk Mental State service. To fulfil operational management duties for some staff, as well as clinical leadership and supervision, service development and consultation.
To ensure the systematic provision of a high-quality specialist clinical psychology service to patients open to the ARMS service within Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB.
The post holder will work across multi-professional teams within the ARMs service to support and facilitate the co-production of bespoke formulation driven psychological interventions. Ensuring a consistent, constant point of contact that is easily accessible across the service and facilitating access to additional support where required in line with the 'no wrong door' approach.
