Job summary
Andover MSK outpatient service is a forward thinking, dynamic team that is constantly looking to improve patient care. We are looking to recruit a Band 5 MSK Clinician is a motivated team player, is patient focussed and has a passion for MSK. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to specialise within a static MSK role and is suitable for newly qualified MSK graduate professionals (including, Physiotherapists, Sports Rehabilitators and SST registered Sports Therapists). This is a full-time post but are happy to discuss flexible working options including part time hours.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will manage a varied caseload. Referral sources include GPs, Consultants, Extended Scope Physiotherapists and staff self referral. You will work as part of the wider MSK service which covers several locations within Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. The service is delivered out of the Andover War Memorial Community Hospital.
We are committed to continued professional development and promoting evidence informed practise to ensure a high standard of care throughout the service. There is an extensive professional development programme aligned against an education protocol which is in place for all MSK staff. The successful candidate will have regular supervisions with their senior. We offer a varied local in-service training programme that is mapped out by the Andover team and there will also wider CPD opportunity with Band 5 specific and Trust-Wide Study days.
