Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced full time administration secretary to work alongside the Southampton Early Intervention In Psychosis Team. You would be joining a lively, supportive team who want to provide the best possible care for their patient group.
As an administration secretary your duties will include managing the day to day running of a busy office. This includes Doctors and other clinicians, as well as typing letters and reports via our electronic system.
Main duties of the job
Your responsibilities will include answering the phones and you will be the first point of contact for patients, carers and other professionals and as such will need to have excellent communication skills.
As the Administration Secretary you will be supporting the Administration Team Manager to ensure efficient streamlined processes are developed and put in place to maximise resource, ensuring deadlines are met.
You must have excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as previous NHS experience. Knowledge of Word and Excel is essential. ERS/RIO/Digital Dictation is desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
