Job summary
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated person who enjoys part of a team. This is an opportunity to join the Specialist Palliative Care Team (SPCT) as a Clinical Administrator. You must have excellent communication and IT skills commensurate with this role.
The position is based at Rowans Hospice, Purbrook but travel may be required to cover other sites.
We are looking for someone who likes to be busy; works well in a team and is able to communicate well with staff and members of the public. You will be an effective and experience administrator, comfortable with using your own initiative.
As a team player, you'll be able to prioritise your work in order to meet deadlines and have a customer focused approach. Previous experience of working within an NHS environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for day to day administration tasks such as managing referrals, booking appointments, making and receiving telephone calls, ordering supplies and all other administrative duties as required by the service. You will work closely with the Clinical Leads, nursing and medical staff.
