We are excited to be able to offer a new opportunity to join us as an Apprentice Project Administrator and learn all aspects of administration within a projects environment whilst working towards a level 2 in Customer Service.

Working within the Technology Department, based in Hedge End, you will have the opportunity to explore all aspects of coordinating the delivery of digital projects and understand the important part administration plays in supporting our clinical teams, operational services and ultimately patient care.

You will be friendly and approachable, confident using a computer, and enjoy working with a variety of people. You don't need to have worked in healthcare before as long as you possess the above qualities and are willing and eager to learn new skills.

The apprenticeship will run for approximately 18 months, during which, you will have regular protected study time, management/peer supervision and further opportunity to develop yourself and your newly found skills within a friendly and established team.

Main duties of the job

The Project Administrator will be involved in a wide variety of administrative tasks supporting a range of digital projects to be delivered by the Programme Delivery Team.

The Project Administrator will work closely with the Project Manager/s and Programme Support Officer who will provide guidance and support with all tasks delegated.

The Project Administrator will provide an excellent customer service experience to all stakeholders associated with our projects and be expected to represent the team in a positive and professional manner at all times.

As part of this role, you will be fully supported to undertake a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship.

This is an apprenticeship post for a fixed term of 18 months.
