Job summary
Southampton Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIP) is currently looking for a highly motivated and skilled professional to join the multi-disciplinary team in delivering individual and group interventions to people aged between 14 to 65 year olds who are presenting with first episode psychosis.
The successful candidate will have quality improvement skills and the vision to continue with the development of the service. They will champion a culture based on principles of recovery, choice and personalised care, providing a role model to junior members of the team. They will be compassionate and committed to providing patient centred and evidence based care and will have a awareness of current national drivers relating to working with individuals with a psychotic illness.
Experience of working as a CPN or in this field will be an advantage.
Car driver and use of car within work hours is essential.

Main duties of the job
To provide psychiatric interventions to clients presenting with first episode psychosis and their families/carers within the East Hampshire area, and specifically to help ensure the provision of a comprehensive service to those made most vulnerable by virtue of mental ill health.
