Southport & Ormskirk Programme Management Office (PMO) provides strategic oversight and delivery monitoring of all transformation and quality programmes. It provides the structure and process for Service Transformation, Quality Improvement and report on progress through to Executives and the Board.
The PMO Team are looking for a proactive individual to join as a Band 6 Transformation Support Lead.
The role is an exciting opportunity to work as a member of the PMO supporting the Trust's Clinical Business Units to deliver efficiencies, quality improvement and transformation.
You would join us at an exciting time as we work alongside colleagues at Whiston and St Helen's in strategic partnership.
Main duties of the job
As Transformation Support Lead you will facilitate and support the Trust and Clinical Business Units (CBUs) on a number of trust wide recovery and sustainability programmes and projects with a Quality Improvement theme. You will work closely with senior managers and key partners to deliver cultural change and improvements in service delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience in project management, QI, service improvement or productivity and efficiency work. The successful applicant will have strong project management skills and will be effective at supporting divisions with large programmes of work and ensuring delivery.

The Secretary of State has approved the partnership between St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals and Southport & Ormskirk Hospitals.
From 1st July we have come together as a single organisation under the name Mersey & West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
