An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Audiologist join our management and leadership team within the therapy and rehabilitation directorate.
The successful applicants will be highly motivated and self-driven with the passion to manage and lead the audiology services department across both Southport District General Hospital and Ormskirk & District General Hospitals.
You will have proven senior leadership experience and expert clinical knowledge. The post holder will be expected to maintain a clinical caseload across sites.
Main duties of the job
To provide clinical, professional, and managerial leadership within the service, ensuring that action is taken at all levels to empower clinical staff in providing demonstrably high standards of care in a clean and safe environment.
Has overall accountability within their areas of responsibility for the monitoring, review, improvement and provision of evidence and assurance relating to patient care.

Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust provides healthcare in hospital and the community to 258,000 people across Southport, Formby and West Lancashire.
Acute care is provided at Southport and Formby District General Hospital and Ormskirk District General Hospital. This includes adults' and children's accident and emergency services, intensive care and a range of medical and surgical specialities. Women's and children's services, including maternity, are provided at Ormskirk hospital.
The North West Regional Spinal Injuries Centre at Southport hospital provides specialist care for spinal patients from across the North West, North Wales and the Isle of Man.
