Health and Justice Rehabilitation service have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team. We are looking to recruit an experienced RNLD.
We support individuals diagnosed with a mental health condition, a learning disability and/or Autism, who have had contact with the criminal justice system. We work in partnership with service users during their rehabilitation journey from hospital into the community.
The service runs 24 hours a day seven days a week, therefore nights and weekends are an expectation of the role.
This role may be eligible for sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route. However, sponsorship can only be provided where applicants meet the specific requirements, therefore, we recommend that you assess your eligibility before applying for this position. Main duties of the job
As a registered nurse within rehabilitation services, you will be responsible for themanagement of shifts on a daily basis in order to ensure care is delivered to an exceptional standard, you will support a dedicated multi-disciplinary team in meeting the needs of people accessing our services.
The successful applicant will be an effective communicator and demonstrate compassion, promoting quality of life and independence. Leadership, delegation and the use of own initiative are also essential aspects of the role. This is a challenging but very rewarding role in a well-established team.
You will need excellent communication skills and be calm, confident and resilient in your approach. You will need to be able to form therapeutic relationships with people with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
