We are seeking a thoughtful and organised Administrator to become part of our warm and supportive Care Home and Dementia Team at Foss Park Hospital.
Your work will play and important role in helping us provide compassionate, person-centred care to those living with dementia and their families.
The Care home and Dementia Team provides specialist mental heath and dementia support to residents in local care homes. The team works closely with care staff, families, and other professionals to promote wellbeing, prevent crises, and deliver high quality, person-centred care for older adults.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
Main duties of the job
As an integral member of the team, you will provide high quality administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the service. You will work closely with colleagues across clinical and non-clinical areas, maintaining accurate records, coordinating meetings and assisting with day-to-day operational tasks.
We are looking for someone who feels comfortable multi-tasking in a busy environment and that can prioritise their workload and work to deadlines. An individual with excellent understanding and experience of using IT software such as Microsoft Office which will be used to maintain the trust systems and processes.
The successful candidate will have contact with service users, families and carers as well as members of the public, and will require excellent interpersonal skills and possess and uphold the trust values of Respect, Compassion and Responsibility.
