Job summary
We are looking to appoint adynamic and motivated Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to work in our busy Adult Mental Health team in Easington, Co Durham. The post holder will be responsible for to deliver high quality psychological interventions.
They will be a vital part of the development of the Governed Psychological Therapies within the GHT. The post holder will be part of the collective leadership of Governed Psychological Therapies and contribute to the development of colleagues in the team. Must be qualified in cognitive behavioural therapy and accredited with BABCP.
Applicants without a recognised core professional training and not registered with a professional regulatory body such as HCPC or NMC would need to demonstrate equivalent training and experience in mental health via the Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes (KSA) route and therefore have a portfolio of evidence approved as part of your BABCP accreditation.

- Practitioner or First Accreditation as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) BABCP Registration Number AND A qualification that leads to registration with a professional regulatory body (HCPC, GMC, NMC or Social Work England) AND current registration with this professional regulatory body.
