The role is a deliberately varied one which has a balance between undertaking initial assessments and holding a clinical caseload. All PWP's are involved in delivering Guided Self Help, Psychoeducation Courses and Computerised programmes. You will receive regular caseload supervision and clinical supervision groups. We pride ourselves on being an innovative Talking Therapies service, and as part of this have developed opportunities for PWPs to take on the role of champions for a variety of populations such as perinatal, older adults, veterans and long-term conditions. These roles enable PWPs to develop their skills and experience in their areas of interest, and assist in designing pathways of care for these populations. We are committed to facilitating continuing professional development and this is actively encouraged within our service. In return, you will be expected to be flexible and provide out of hours clinics as required by service need and demonstrate a willingness to travel.
