Job summary

We are looking for a focussed, technically skilled, customer focused Cyber Security Senior Analyst to work within an existing Cyber team within the Digital and Data directorate. You will act a a key lead within the Cyber Security team and work in conjunction with leads and managers within the technology sections along with a varied list of internal and external stakeholders to deliver a modern, secure and robust Cyber service within TEWV.

You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.

Main duties of the job

  • Oversee and develop the security and compliance team function and staff in relation to cyber security. Deputise for the Cyber Security Service Manager as required
  • Provides expert advice in cyber security and guidance across a range of technology and IT subject matter. Areas including infrastructure systems, applications, network devices, supply chain and cyber education.
  • Actively partake in the strategic direction of cyber security Compliance. Build on existing process and maintain a continuous improvement cycle in relation to cyber security processes and functions. Produce regular and meaningful security and compliance reports for Cyber Security and DSPT groups and the Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO) as required.
  • Work closely across technology services to ensure compliance within all technology areas including EUC, Networks and infrastructure servers identifying potential vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Proactively manage compliance within DSPT, CAF frameworks and CIS controls inline with national NHS directive.
