An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic Team Administratorto join Day services and work as part of Respite Day and Residential services ( RDR). Kilton View day services in Brotton is open Monday to Friday 9-5pm and provides person centred care to adults with complex Learning Disability and associate health problems. The successful candidate will be responsible for working in the reception area at Kilton view and will be the first person to meet and greet service users and carers. Excellent communication skills are required to enable the individual to communicate within the team, and to plan and co-ordinate activities to meet service need. The successful candidate well be able to navigate trust information systems and have a flexible approach to work. Other responsibilities include ordering of stock and supplies liaising with members of the MDT and parent and carers, Minute taking and attending huddles. Full training will be provided.
There will be a level of flexibility required depending on service/patient need.
Main duties of the job
As part of the administration team, to provide a comprehensive administrative support service to all members of the multi-disciplinary clinical team.
Depending on work area, may have day to day responsibility for the supervision of administrative assistants or receptionists within the team.
Will be the first point of contact for service users, carers and visitors to the clinical team and to respond in a helpful manner to enquiries or other issues raised.
To undertake or arrange cross cover support as required.
To interact compassionately with service users and carers at all times.
Service users have a range of mental health conditions and/or learning disabilities.
To promote at all times a positive image of people with mental health conditions and/or learning disabilities.
To promote at all times a positive image of the Service and the wider Trust.
