Job summary
An exciting opportunity has become available for band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disabilities Nurse to fulfil the role of Duty Nurse Co-ordinator working at Cross Lane Hospital.
The successful applicant will be based at Cross Lane Hospital supporting Adult Mental Health and Mental Health for Older People inpatient services.
Main duties of the job
The post will require predominantly night shift working, although there will be periods of time where day shifts will be allocated. Across our services there is a need for more senior clinical leadership to be provided during the night to support clinical decision making where needed.
You will be a role model for junior staff and be expected to demonstrate a high level of decision-making skills and the ability to seek collective support from colleagues where required.
