Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Contractor Escorts to join our Estates Team and undertake Contractor Escort Duties within the Trust for a period of 18 months, ensuring the safety of all patients, staff, visitors and contractors.
Main duties of the job
The successful post holders will be deployed to escort contractors, workmen and services engineers to their place of work within the Trust and remain with them for the duration of the work period. The post holders will ensure the safety of tools and materials within the secure area and will have a full working knowledge of the hospital's Security Regulations governing the conduct of all contractors, workmen and service engineers.
Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
