TEWV is currently engaged in the implementation of an innovative Electronic Patient Record system as part of the National Frontline Digitisation strategy. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CIO to lead the Digital Strategy and the Digital and Data Services. EPR implementation is seen as a truly transformational opportunity for us, and the wider system and the CIO is central to its success.

We're looking for an experienced, dynamic innovator with a passion for transformation of clinical services through digital implementation, possessing a track record of success in leading Digital and Data services. Our Digital and Data teams include passionate, highly skilled, professional, experienced staff who put people at the heart of everything they do. Main duties of the job

As the Chief Information Officer at Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technological vision and strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing our technology systems, ensuring they align with business objectives, and driving innovation in our digital landscape. Importantly you will understand how you deliver your role well will support the delivery of high quality care.

The Chief Information Officer will deliver a step change in digital transformation, working with clinicians, colleagues and partners to ensure the optimisation of our digital and data services across the organisation, facilitating the realisation of benefits and the integration of digital care with the Trust's quality and safety priorities. The post will promote and support delivery of the Trust's over-arching strategic framework; Our Journey to Change including consistently role modelling Trust Values.

The Chief Information Officer will ensure we are supporting our workforce with the capabilities required to use digital as well as drive innovation in the use of digital health services with those who we provide care and treatment to, creating a healthier future for our population.
